Lily Allen has revealed that she has finished work on her second album, and has been working with Klaxons.
Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, the singer explained that as well as finishing off her own album, she had been writing with Klaxons' frontman Jamie Reynolds.
Speaking of the follow-up to her 2006 debut 'Alright, Still', Allen said: "I'm pretty much sure it�s finished and I�ve got a meeting on Tuesday with the label, I'm really happy."
Speaking of her collaborative work with Reynolds, she explained: "We had our [studio] session and enlightened each other. We did a cover of Joe Jackson's 'Steppin' Out'.
Reynolds added: "�and that wonderful song that we're yet to finish. We've put a bit of work and we're getting somewhere near a flow. It's going alright, we go in on Tuesday (July 1) to do the second session on it. We've got another two weeks to hopefully come up with something."
